A Relaxed Summer Wedding at The Last Drop Village
| BOLTON WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER |

Late June sunshine, rolling Lancashire hills, and two of the loveliest people tying the knot – Sarah and Paul’s wedding at The Last Drop Village in Bolton was a total dream to photograph.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear this wedding was all about family, fun, and making memories.
The vibe was super relaxed – exactly what you’d want on a summer’s day
Paul earned himself some Groom-brownie points with some beautiful gifts for Sarah while she was getting ready
The boys made their arrival at Last Drop Village, looking very dapper.

It was all smiles and happy tears once the finishing touches were done, and the bridesmaids got a First Look at Sarah in her wedding dress
Sarah looked great, and Paul couldn’t stop smiling from the second he saw her.
Their ceremony was full of laughter (and maybe a tear or two), followed by a laid-back afternoon in the gardens of The Last Drop, with guests enjoying drinks, sunshine, and some seriously good company.

Now, here’s where things got a little bit epic…
Sarah and Paul are part of a tight-knit group of friends who play Dungeons & Dragons together – and they brought that shared passion right into their big day. After the formal photos, we set up a hilarious group shot where their friends charged at them with full roleplay weaponry. It was chaotic, silly, and completely perfect – such a brilliant way to show off their personalities and friendships.

Later, we gathered the wedding party for a champagne pop photo – and let’s just say they nailed it. The spray, the laughter, the candid reactions – one of my favourite shots of the day, hands down...
...but with about half the bottle remaining after the spray, I set up a race between the groomsmen for the rights to finish the bottle.
With the evening drawing in, it was time to cut their amazing cake (decorated by one of Sarah's very talented bridesmaids!) and hit the dance floor for the first dance.
This was no boring dance floor, with loads of alternative music playing and everyone throwing their best shapes.

If you’re planning a wedding in Lancashire and want natural, storytelling-style photography with a relaxed, fun feel, I’d love to chat.
Whether you’re going for something traditional or completely offbeat (bring the swords!), I’m here for it.
